Job description

The CNC Machinist plays a critical role in the manufacturing process, handling both prototyping and production projects. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 operators, this role reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up machines, operating CNC equipment, inspecting quality, and ensuring efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC machines according to project specifications
  • Operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to blueprints
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Manage tooling requirements and inventory
  • Monitor production processes and maintain documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Programming with Fusion 360
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation
