Job description

CNC Machinist (Mill/Lathe)


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to join our team. This full-time, on-site position involves operating and maintaining CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts according to technical specifications.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC milling and/or lathe machines to produce high-precision components
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints, including GD&T specifications
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production goals
  • Conduct quality control inspections on finished parts using measurement tools and inspection techniques
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
  • Collaborate with engineers and production team members to optimize machining processes
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment


Qualifications

  • Proficient in operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
  • Experience with CNC programming, including G and M codes; MasterCam experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, especially with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Minimum 2โ€“5 years of experience in a similar CNC machining role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
