Job Summary

The CNC Machinist position that builds on foundational CNC machining skills. This role involves performing complex setups, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced machining operations and a strong problem-solving ability.

Essential Functions

  • CNC Machine Operations

  • Quality Control & Troubleshooting

  • Equipment Maintenance & Safety- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure operational efficiency.

    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Reporting and Communication

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.

    • 2-4 years of experience operating CNC machine
    • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Skills and Competencies- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

    • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, mentor and provide guidance to junior machinists.
  • Work Environment- This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production noise.

    • Physical tasks include standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Schedule- Full-time position with standard shift hours; overtime may be required based on production demands.

  • Compensation- Hourly Rate: $22.00-$30.00/hr.
