Xactra Technologies is looking for CNC Turning and Milling Setup/Operators to add to our 1st and 2nd shift staff. Job Requirements

  • Set up/Operate Multi-Axis Mill Turns and/or Vertical/Horizontal Milling machines.
  • Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part-specific operations, which would be noted on the job router.
  • Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics.
  • Seek supervisory help if the machine fails or measurements get outside limits.
  • Document on router production, quality and scrap counts daily.
  • Check to make sure coolant or oil levels are at proper function levels.

Skills & Experience

  • CNC Machining experience in turning or milling.
  • Optical Industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read GD&T Code.
  • Ability to use all measuring tools.
  • Materials experience: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Plastics.
