Position Summary:

 

As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Machine Shop team by overseeing machine operations on the floor and providing essential hands-on support to operators. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Mills, lathes, and other machines.
  • Use measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measure, to inspect finished profiles.
  • Install and align tools, fixtures, and materials on machines.
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure optimal performance.
  • Additional tasks assigned.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment (e.g., CNC, lathes, milling machines)
  • Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide team members effectively.

 

Experience Required:

  • Previous CNC Machine Operation experience. 
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments.

 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and move material or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
