Job description

Strata-G Solutions, LLC is searching for a talented and experienced CNC Machinist for multi-axis milling and lathe machining centers. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and customer standards.


As a CNC Machinist, successful candidates will be highly skilled professionals with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. In order to excel in this role, you will have to possess in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques emerging in the industry.
Candidate must be a self-starter.


Essential Functions
Load program, set-up, and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including milling, drilling and turning.
Ensure CNC machines operate in accordance with company guidelines.
Oversee the machines while they execute tasks and make the necessary changes to produce desired results.
Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure correct functionality.
Record all machine actions by completing production routers and quality steps.
Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating parts.
Perform regular CNC machine maintenance.


Minimum Skills and Competencies
Strong CNC machinist knowledge of 3/4/5 axis vertical and lathe machining centers.
CNC turning experience
Manual mill and lathe experience are a PLUS.
Ability to use shop hand tools, measuring equipment, operate saws, grinders and various deburr equipment.
Candidate must have a good understanding of shop safety and standard safety equipment.
Strong work ethic, self-starter, motivated with great attention to detail and quality.


Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Certificate or diploma in engineering or machine programming is an ADVANTAGE.
Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
Good computer and mathematical skills.
