The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC milling machines
  • Create and modify CNC programs using Mazatrol and Mastercam
  • Perform complete machine setups including tooling, offsets, and workholding
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Produce tight-tolerance precision machined components
  • Optimize feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to improve efficiency
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision inspection equipment
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they arise
  • Support production goals while maintaining quality standards
