Job Overview:
Express has partnered with a local machine shop and are seeking applicants to join their team as a CNC Milling Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating HASS CNC machines with minimal supervision, working with various types of metals, and performing job setups and breakdowns.
Job Description:
  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks (HAAS)
  • Read and interpret blue prints and traveler to determine production needs
  • Upload and utilize CNC programs to create products, performing minor program edits as required
  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed products to ensure compliance with blueprints and company quality standards
  • Understand and work with G & M codes for efficient machine programming and operation
  • Set up and break down jobs, ensuring efficient transition between projects

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of recent CNC machining experience
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers, for quality control purposes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with various measuring devices
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Ability to stand in one spot for hours and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Report to work prompt with a good work ethic
  • Work with minimal to no supervision
