Job description

Job Duties: As a CNC Programmer at Parks Metal, your role involves programming and setting up CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Ideal candidate must have experience in building fixtures and programming for a fourth axis, as well as the ability to lead a small team.

Responsibilities include:
    1.Programming: Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
    2.Setup: Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, tools, and programs needed for each job.
    3.Operation: Operate CNC machines to execute machining tasks with precision and efficiency.
    4.Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.
    5.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
    6.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling, and setup sheets.

Report To: You will report directly to the Plant Manager or Shop Foreman, providing updates on production progress and any technical issues.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Wear appropriate PPE such as safety glasses and ear protection when operating CNC machines to comply with safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements: To qualify for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

    1.CNC Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming CNC machines using CAD software (e.g., Mastercam, Solidwork).
    2.Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand part dimensions and tolerances.
