CNC Machine Operator

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Forest Lake, MN
Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour (DOE)

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to support precision machining operations in a production environment. This role involves operating, setting up, machining and programming CNC equipment to produce high quality components to exact specifications. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, technically skilled, and committed to accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi axis equipment).
  • Perform offsets, tool changes, fixture adjustments, and precision measurements.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining problems and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all shop safety procedures.
  • Work with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Knowledge of feeds, speeds, tool paths, and CNC programming fundamentals (Helpful)
  • Experience with GD&T (preferred)
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks/Mastercam (Helpful)
  • Ability to read blueprints and hold tight machining tolerances.
  • Experience working with metals such as steel, stainless, and aluminum.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
