Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in our aerospace products line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and mechanical systems.
Duties
  • Manage daily production activities to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train production staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, quality control and logistics, to streamline operations.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work directly with our production floor to prioritize WIP in various departments including Laser Cutting, Waterjet Cutting, CNC machining, Deburr, Assembly and Sheetmetal Fabrication.
Skills
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Extensive factory experience with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly lines and production machinery.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools used in manufacturing settings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
