Job description

Position Summary 

We are searching for a qualified and dedicated CNC Machinist for a precision manufacturing partner in Beech Grove, IN. This role is focused on setup and run machinists, with the greatest current need on the mill side, though candidates with lathe experience will also be considered. 
This is a critical manufacturing environment supporting high-importance customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and takes pride in doing the job right- not someone looking for a short stop. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes 
  • Run production parts while maintaining tight tolerances 
  • Make offsets and minor adjustments as needed 
  • Interpret blueprints and GD&T 
  • Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges 
  • Complete work orders and inspection documentation accurately 
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on assigned machines 
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely 


Qualifications & Skills 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and run) 
  • Experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes 
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation 
  • Comfortable with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) 
  • Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and consistent attendance 
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently 
  • Mastercam or CAM programming exposure preferred 
  • Experience with Doosan, Okuma, or similar machines preferred 
  • Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical manufacturing preferred 


Employment Type & Compensation 

  • This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire
  • Pay rate is $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Application Window: Open until closed  


Work Schedule 

  • Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
