Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Machining for our client. This position is responsible for making machine adjustments, reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and ensuring parts meet quality specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

·         Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications.

·         Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and X, Y, and Z axis settings to maintain dimensional accuracy.

·         Replace or adjust cutting tools, dies, and inserts as required.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

·         Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.

·         Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.

·         Make program and machine adjustments to improve quality and production efficiency.

·         Monitor machine performance and identify tooling or equipment issues.

·         Maintain accurate production and quality records.

·         Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

·         Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment concerns.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

·         High School Diploma or GED preferred.

·         Previous experience operating and setting up CNC machining equipment required.

·         Experience adjusting or replacing tooling, dies, and cutting inserts.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

·         Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

·         Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

·         Experience making CNC program offsets and machine adjustments.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·         Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·         Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

·         Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

·         Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for machine setup and inspection activities.

·         Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and associated machinery.

·         Manufacturing and machining facility.

·         Frequent exposure to moving machinery, metal chips, coolants, lubricants, and moderate to loud noise.

·         Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.

·         Team-oriented environment focused on safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
