Works in a business area on projects and other activities which support the business, and may perform other duties related to the internship.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
Participates and assists in internship-related or other projects.
Assists management in various activities relevant to internship and which support the business.
May participate in drafting and development of documents and/or reports.
Interfaces with internal and external contacts as appropriate.
Participates in meetings and developmental workshops as related to the insurance industry.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
1. Developing knowledge and understanding of the industry, organization and specific business area.
2. Good verbal and written communication skills.
3. Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, to learn quickly and to embrace change.
4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and the ability to cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.
5. Developing decision-making skills.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software.
Education and Experience
1. Typically has completed at least three years of college with required minimum GPA of 3.0. and study in insurance, accounting, actuarial science, IT or other relevant field. 2. Some previous work experience is preferred.
In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $35,000 to $65,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
