Position Overview:
  • Assists residents with their activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and supports the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the guidance of the RN, designee or Director of Nursing.
  • Responsible for providing residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment care plan and as directed by supervisors.
  • Ensures the resident's needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.
  • Accountable for maintaining infection control protocols while performing duties.
  • Give assistance with the transport of residents as needed via GMC fleet vehicles.
  • Committed to performing all nursing care behaviors described in the Certified Nursing Assistant job description.

Position Highlights:
  • Shift Differentials: $1.00-$2.00 per hour
  • Sign On Bonus Eligible: $6,000 (Full-Time only)

  • Completion of a State certified nursing assistant program.
  • Certification as Nursing Assistant I, and is currently listed with the DFS, Nursing Assistant Central Registry with no substantiated findings or misappropriation of property.
  • Must be able to work under the direction of a licensed nurse and follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • CPR certification.
