ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurses to join our Supplemental Resource Office Float Pool. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various critical care and intermediate care units, including:

  • Medical ICU
  • Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU
  • Coronary Care Unit
  • Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1)
  • Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU
  • Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID)
  • Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit
  • Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit
  • Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit
  • ED Boarders (admitted to hospital but boarding in the ED prior to room assignment)
Schedule & Availability
  • Nights Shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday commitment required
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Two weeks of no requests for time off (RTO)
  • Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Qualifications
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Must adhere to floating policies
  • Epic electronic medical record experience is required
  • Virginia nursing license pending submission is acceptable
