Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership:
โ€ข Provide leadership within the CNA program, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
โ€ข Mentor and guide students to ensure their academic success and professional development.
โ€ข Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and program evaluation activities.
โ€ข Collaborate with other faculty members and departmental staff to enhance the overall student experience within the program.
Programmatic:
โ€ข Develop and deliver effective instructional strategies and course materials that align with program objectives and accreditation standards.
โ€ข Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions for CNA students.
โ€ข Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback to support student progress.
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
โ€ข Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Louisiana.
โ€ข Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a CNA.
โ€ข Teaching experience in a post-secondary educational institution or healthcare training program preferred.
โ€ข Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
