Accepting applications: October 15, 2012 - November 25, 2012 Location: (Michigan) - Metro Detroit and surrounding areas including Wayne, Westland, Taylor, Ann Arbor and Brighton. Employment Type: Part-Time, Full Time, Temp and Per diem (Contract) available Position Available(s): CNA CNA Description: Caregiver will work within our client's homes providing support with daily living tasks and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Staffing Coordinator. Must be able to perform assigned direct care activities, basic personal care procedures, and training for clients in the community.

CNA Duties: Assists clients in personal care, learning and performing daily living skills. Participates in recreational, light house-keeping, grocery shopping, social activities and may accompany client's to appointments and activities. And observes and documents client's behavior.

CNA Qualifications: CNA certification in the State of Michigan. Six or more months experience working in a health care facility or in home care agency. Must be able to pass a criminal history check and a drug screen.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge and procedures performed by a certified nursing assistant. Willingness to work in home environments of patients who may have values or standards different from your own Ability to turn, lift and carry patients when necessary Ability to climb stairs and do some lifting Ability to both give and receive instructions, on the phone and in person Ability to use blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, thermometer, gloves, gowns, aprons, shampoo boards and medical records Respect the client's privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
