Job description

Grandvue Medical Care Facility (GMCF) in East Jordan is looking for a Relief CNA Transporter to join our team and help ensure our residents receive safe, comfortable, and compassionate transportation to and from medical appointments.

As a Relief CNA Transporter, you’ll use your CNA skills beyond the facility walls—accompanying residents to appointments, providing for their physical and personal needs during transportation, and serving as a positive representative of Grandvue in the community. You’ll also coordinate appointment paperwork, communicate important information with Grandvue staff, document services in our EMR system, and assist with the cleaning and upkeep of the transportation van.

Additional responsibilities include assisting residents with their personal belongings and coordinating the replacement, labeling, or repair of eyeglasses and hearing aids. You may also provide support in neighborhood and community settings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • At least one year of CNA experience
  • Valid chauffeur’s license
  • Ability to safely transport and assist residents with varying physical needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, dependable, and professional approach to working with residents
