We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.
Available Shift: Full-Time Day shift
โ€ข High school diploma or GED equivalent required
โ€ข Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com)
โ€ข Insulin Certification required
โ€ข Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com)
โ€ข Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
โ€ข Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
โ€ข Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
โ€ข One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
