The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) plays a critical role in ensuring resident health, safety, and well-being. As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will work closely with nursing staff and the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
Administer medications to residents as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and report any discrepancies
Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns to nursing staff
Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
Ensure proper storage and handling of medications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized medication cart and work area
Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards
Qualifications
Current state certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
Long-term care experience preferred but not required
