Job description

We are seeking a system engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Responsibilities
  • Provide system engineering support for a Human Resource Applications and Services organization’s software development team.
  • Act as the direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitate agile processes, communicate with team members, the Government and end‑user customers.
  • Work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks and communicate with the Freedom Program Management team.
  • Be willing to tackle challenges and be comfortable collaborating in a fast‑paced, highly visible team environment.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • A bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years’ experience as an SE in programs is required; nineteen (19) years’ experience as an SE may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience as a system engineer on a software development team with diverse skill sets and experience levels.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of new technologies and products.
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules.
  • Experience with requirements management, including working with customers to capture a clear definition of “done.”
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence and managing Jira.
  • Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $185,000-$215,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
