Job description

SUMMARY

As the Maintenance Tech for Stamping and Robotic Spot Weld Assemblies, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of stamping machinery and robotic welding systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and leading a team of maintenance technicians. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to drive continuous improvement and support the company’s production goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues related to stamping machines and robotic welders. Ensure prompt and effective repairs to minimize production downtime.

· Equipment Upgrades: Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary. Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.

· Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements. Leverage data and feedback to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Certifications in a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, specifically with stamping presses and robotic welding systems.
