Position Summary

The CMP FEOL Process Engineer performs as a front-line worker for the engineering organization. This role is responsible for daily operations and strategic projects to achieve and overcome challenges.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Technical representative for their manufacturing module unit part. Provides technical direction, serves as a point of contact or business liaison, prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to their unit part.

  • Supervise / leads / mentors 5-12 engineers or individual technical contributors.

  • Maintain awareness of manufacturing module unit part's key production indicators and responsible to ensure unit part is meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Manages priorities for the unit part relevant projects to current business situation and can adjust these priorities without explicit direction.

  • Lead multi-department teams to solve complex problems.

  • Develop innovative solutions and implement effectively to meet the strategic goals for the factory.

  • Effectively influence and communicate unit part challenges to ensure unit part gets proper fiscal, technical, and operational support.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • B.S. in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science engineering, chemistry, or physics.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in semi-conductor fabrication process engineering.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite. We are not currently accepting applications for candidates who currently, or in the future, will need visa sponsorship.
