This is a highly strategic and customer-facing role that requires equal parts vision, execution, and empathy. You will work directly with some of our largest enterprise customers to understand their operational challenges, influence long-term product strategy, and ensure our roadmap delivers meaningful business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, builds strong customer relationships, and can successfully balance enterprise commitments, market opportunities, technical investment, and long-term platform evolution. Experience with enterprise software integrations, connected ecosystems, and workflow automation is highly preferred.
You will serve as the connective force between customers, engineering, UX, sales, support, customer success, and executive leadership-ensuring we deliver solutions that solve real customer problems while driving sustained business growth.
What You'll Do:

  • Develop and manage a multi-year product strategy and roadmap that balances innovation, platform modernization, customer commitments, and commercial growth.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in enterprise asset management, maintenance operations, AI, workflow automation, mobility, and connected systems.
  • Perform market, customer, and competitive analysis to ensure Accruent remains a leader in the CMMS market.

Customer Engagement & Voice of Customer
  • Develop trusted relationships with strategic enterprise customers and partners.
  • Lead customer discovery efforts through site visits, advisory boards, user groups, interviews, and product feedback sessions.
  • Advocate relentlessly for customer outcomes while balancing platform scalability and business priorities.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product investments that improve adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a product ambassador at customer meetings, conferences, partner engagements, and industry events.

Enterprise Roadmap Management
  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Manage competing priorities including customer commitments, technical debt, platform investments, regulatory requirements, and innovation initiatives.
  • Make informed tradeoff decisions supported by customer impact, business value, effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to continuously improve execution predictability and delivery outcomes.

Product Discovery & Execution
  • Lead continuous discovery efforts to uncover customer needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and Engineering to define solutions that are simple, scalable, and valuable.
  • Create clear business requirements, product briefs, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Guide product development from ideation through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Establish success metrics and measure outcomes to ensure investments deliver expected value.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Align Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support around roadmap priorities and business outcomes.
  • Communicate roadmap strategy, priorities, and product direction to executive stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
  • Support go-to-market planning, pricing discussions, customer communications, and product launches.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Proven success owning and executing strategic product roadmaps for complex enterprise solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with experience engaging executive stakeholders, operational leaders, and end users.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs, market trends, and business objectives into impactful product strategies.
  • Experience managing competing priorities across strategic initiatives, customer commitments, technical investments, and market opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage customer insights, market research, usage data, and financial metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience leading product discovery efforts including interviews, customer workshops, usability testing, and voice-of-customer programs.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate effectively with significant autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CMMS, EAM, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Industrial Software, or adjacent enterprise operational technology platforms.
  • Experience working with customers in manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, healthcare, transportation, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software integrations, APIs, identity management, workflow automation, and connected ecosystems.
