This position is for 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday and Saturday and/or Sunday, when required
Job Summary
  • CMM Inspection - Support the Quality and Manufacturing departments with 1st Piece Inspection,
  • In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of finished parts.
  • Use of manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gages and other inspection equipment while CMM is running longer cycles times.
  • Set-up next job(s) in line while CMM is checking parts.
  • Perform layout inspections, first piece approvals, in-process inspections, and other aspects of inspection through-out the manufacturing process.
  • Other quality related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree, specialized training or certifications in Quality or Engineering strongly preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years performing CMM Programming work, with Open DMIS or PC-DMIS, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing operation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of GD&T required
  • Experience in a job shop highly preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of inspection tools
