Our client has retained us to identify an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) for a leadership-focused opportunity with a respected nonprofit behavioral health organization in Utah dedicated to helping adults with serious mental illness achieve stability, independence, and long-term recovery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants to combine clinical leadership, team oversight, and meaningful direct client care in a mission-driven setting. You will support a multidisciplinary community-based behavioral health team while helping ensure clients receive recovery-oriented, trauma-informed services that reduce hospitalization and improve long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision
  • Maintain 10+ hours weekly of direct face-to-face client services
  • Ensure delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence-based behavioral health services
  • Support integration of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and person-centered treatment approaches
  • Support adherence to community-based behavioral health best practices, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model standards where applicable

Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
  • Current Utah clinical license as an LCSW or CMHC
  • Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria
  • Experience in community mental health, crisis services, case management, or serious mental illness populations strongly preferred
