Job description

We are seeking a ServiceNow Engineering Leader to own and evolve our enterprise ServiceNow platforms spanning IT Service Management (ITSM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Security Operations, CMDB, and CSDM. This role is designed for an engineering leader with deep platform, integration, and administration experience across the ServiceNow ecosystem. The environment is complex and operates at enterprise scale across multiple locations, with significant workflow customization and enterprise integrations that require strong engineering judgment alongside hands-on administration capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Architecture & Engineering Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end architecture of the enterprise ServiceNow platform spanning ITSM, Business Continuity Management, Security Operations, CMDB, and CSDM across multiple locations.
  • Lead the design and evolution of workflows, data models, and automation across all modules, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform health.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards and architectural patterns across the platform, prioritizing out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality, ITIL best practices, and platform standards while governing customization decisions to protect upgrade compatibility and maintain long-term platform health.

Platform Administration
  • Perform and oversee day-to-day administration across all supported modules including ITSM, BCM, Security Operations, CMDB, and CSDM.
  • Govern user access, roles, and entitlements across all locations in alignment with security and compliance requirements.

ITSM, BCM & Security Operations
  • Own ITSM as the enterprise standard for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Asset Management, driving ITIL-aligned workflows and service catalog adoption across all locations.
  • Own Security Operations including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence, ensuring consistent workflows and integration with enterprise security tooling across all locations.
  • Own the BCM platform including Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Planning, supporting enterprise resilience and disaster recovery across all locations while leveraging CMDB integration for real-time asset and dependency visibility.

CMDB & CSDM
  • Own the CMDB as the enterprise source of truth for configuration items, assets, and service dependencies across all locations.
  • Own the implementation and adoption of CSDM as the enterprise framework for organizing services, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring data quality supports ITSM, BCM, and Security Operations workflows.

Integration & Operational Excellence
  • Architect and own enterprise integrations connecting the ServiceNow platform to upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
  • Own the platform delivery lifecycle including environment strategy, release management, and deployment practices across a multi-location enterprise.
  • Ensure platform reliability, availability, and operational readiness at scale across all locations.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of platform or enterprise systems engineering experience with hands-on ServiceNow development and administration.

  • Demonstrated experience owning CMDB governance and CSDM implementation at enterprise scale.
  • Experience deploying and managing ServiceNow across multiple locations or business units.
