Familiarity with regulatory submission systems, analytical tools, and quality management software is essential. Strong project management, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills for coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance. These skills and qualities are critical to guarantee the safety, efficacy, and regulatory approval of pharmaceutical products.

Job description

We are seeking a REMOTE senior consultant with demonstrated hands-on experience implementing Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) environments. This role requires expertise in deploying, configuring, and operating Strategy CMC within a Red Hat OpenShift container platform. Candidates whose experience is limited to OpenShift administration without significant Strategy CMC implementation experience are not a fit for this position. This is a REMOTE position.

The successful candidate will lead the deployment of a new Strategy CMC environment, configure the platform to support existing on-premises Strategy reports and dashboards, and establish operational processes for long-term success. Following implementation, the consultant will provide operational support while mentoring the LANL middleware team to assume ongoing administration of both the OpenShift platform and the Strategy CMC environment.

Required Qualifications

  • US citizenship is needed.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience deploying and administering Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) in production enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and supporting Strategy CMC.
  • Experience migrating or enabling existing Strategy applications, reports, and dashboards within a CMC deployment.
  • Experience deploying and operating Strategy CMC on Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Strategy architecture, platform services, and operational best practices.
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration, container technologies, Kubernetes, and Linux.
  • Experience developing operational documentation and delivering structured knowledge transfer.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Seven (7) or more years of directly applicable experience implementing and supporting complex enterprise application platforms.
  • Recognized subject matter expert in Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) architecture, deployment, configuration, and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise software implementations from initial deployment through production operations and knowledge transfer.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and management stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and production deployment of Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC).
  • Deploy and configure Strategy CMC within a Red Hat OpenShift environment.
  • Configure the new CMC environment to support existing on-premises Strategy reports, dashboards, security, and application functionality.
  • Validate application functionality, performance, connectivity, and overall production readiness.
  • Perform CMC configuration, tuning, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support.
  • Maintain the Strategy CMC application and support containerized infrastructure after production deployment.
  • Develop operational procedures, documentation, and best practices for long-term platform support.
  • Mentor LANL middleware personnel on administration of both the OpenShift platform and the Strategy CMC environment, providing comprehensive knowledge transfer to enable transition of operational responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure a reliable, secure, and maintainable production environment.
