CMA Opportunity At Pilot Butte Rehab Center

At Pilot Butte Rehab Center, our residents are everything to us. We provide exceptional care for our residents through a true team model. As A CMA, You Provide Individualized Attention And Encourage Residents To Maintain Or Attain Their Highest Practical Physical, Mental, And Psychosocial Well-Being. You Also Administer, Instruct, And Monitor Resident Medications And Report To The Director Of Nursing.

You will:

  • Ensure proper dosage/distribution and instruct residents on application/consumption of medication per the direction of their physician
  • Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
  • Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
  • Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
  • Document care in keeping with department policies
You Currently:
  • Possess a CMA certification in the state of employment
  • Can obtain CPR/BLS card
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures
  • Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
  • Communicate and interact tactfully with others
