Job Overview

This is a temporary full-time seasonal position running from August to November 2026.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager / Maintenance Leadership team, the Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operation and upkeep of the Club's facilities by performing general maintenance and repairs, maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment, and contributing to the efficient operation of the Club.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $20.00, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role, including but not limited to:

  • Maintain the Club's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Perform general maintenance, repairs, painting, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Complete landscaping duties, including lawn care, gardening, pruning, and seasonal grounds maintenance.
  • Remove snow and ice from entrances, walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
  • Set up and take down furniture, equipment, and event spaces for Club functions and special events.
  • Collect and manage waste and recycling while maintaining clean waste disposal areas.
  • Support the maintenance and upkeep of tennis courts and other recreational facilities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist departments with operational needs.
  • Identify, report, and help resolve maintenance, safety, and security concerns.
  • Follow health and safety procedures while providing excellent service to members, guests, and fellow team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, building operations, landscaping, or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow health and safety procedures.
