Job Number: R0247252 Cloud Operations Engineer The Opportunity: Organizations are rapidly evolving their cloud environments and ensuring those environments run securely, reliably, and efficiently is critical. As a CloudOps Engineer, you will operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission focused teams as they deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-native solutions. You'll strengthen your technical skills while helping clients achieve operational excellence across their cloud ecosystems. Empower change with us. Work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large-scale government program, using next-gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Python. Design and develop DevOps pipeline to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CodeDeploy, etc. Use state of the art diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * 4+ years of experience operating cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GC
* Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, and
* Experience with Automation tools such as GitLab and GitHub and scripting such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Experience with IaC tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
* Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
* Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications
* Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience working with a cloud service provider, or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience working with a cloud service provider
* AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert within 60 days of hire * Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire Nice If You Have: * Experience with Linux or Windows Server * Experience with network fundamentals * Experience with Generative AI best practices, prompt engineering, agentic, and agentic workflows
* Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks for the cloud, containers, and applications * Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
