Job description

Role: .Net Architect
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
Duration: Long Term
JOB TITLE: Application Architect
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
โ€ข Responsible for the architecture, design, development and implementation of an enterprise grade application.
โ€ข Responsible for the development of standards, procedures and guidelines for application design and development on the project.
โ€ข Reviews the work of the other technical project members, ensuring quality of work, timeliness and software efficiency.
โ€ข Create high-level architecture specifications, addressing problems of system integration and compatibility at the system/solution level.
โ€ข Create reference architectures, applications and proofs of concept for application development solutions.
โ€ข Collaborate with project and organizational leadership on initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
โ€ข Contributes to the review and evaluation of technology solutions, providing feedback to leadership.
โ€ข Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum
ceremonies.
โ€ข Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship and guidance to State personnel for all requested work.
โ€ข Monitor, review and audit performance of the customer-agency's replacement software and make performance improvements.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
โ€ข 7+ years of relevant experience designing and implementing enterprise class .NET applications.
โ€ข 3+ years of relevant experience designing and implementing CI/CD processes for automated build, test and deployment using DevOps practices.
โ€ข 3+ years of experience leading a team of software developers through the design, development, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of an application.
โ€ข Experience with monitoring/observability platforms and instrumenting applications to trace transactions, and provide timely alerts around issues.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
โ€ข Experience designing and implementing high transaction volume distributed systems.
โ€ข Architect level certifications for one or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, Security, DevOps, etc...)
