As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline thesoftware development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best, create. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

• 4+ years ofexperienceautomating CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins or GitLab

• 4+ years ofexperienceautomating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform

• 4+ years ofexperiencewith configuration management tools

• Experienceworking with application development teams across thesoftware development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

• Experiencehosting applications on commercial cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experiencewith containerization tools, including Kubernetes or Docker

• Knowledge ofscripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• Ability toobtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level IIICertificationwithin 30 days of hiredate

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Gradle, or NPM

• Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks

• Knowledge oftriaging and resolving issuesrelatedto both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
