Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking an Infra Cloud Migration Consultant to lead the migration team on technical aspects for datacenter migration to public cloud, specifically GCP. The role involves ensuring infrastructure readiness, managing workloads, and handling technical escalations during the migration phase.
Responsibilities:
β€’ Leads the migration team on technical aspects under the guidance of the architect.
β€’ Delivers an outcome of infrastructure readiness for the data centre migration
β€’ Responsible for migration/creation of x86 workloads and relative infrastructure at GCP as per move group planning by US Market
β€’ Responsible for delivering technical tasks ontime, assigned during the migration phase.
β€’ Responsible for creating the component sheet for each move group.
β€’ Technical discussion related to infrastructure (under TCS Scope of work) with application teams along with architect
β€’ Responsible to ensure installation and function of GIS Infrastructure and Security tools on all the migrated workloads in GCP
β€’ Responsible for ensuring patching compliance on all the migrated workloads in GCP
β€’ Responsible to ensure mandatory tags applied on all the migrated workloads in GCP
β€’ Responsible to handle and resolve technical escalation under TCS scope of work
Qualifications:
Required:
β€’ 10-12 years in IT Infra management space
β€’ Strong experience in datacenter migration to public cloud specifically GCP
