Overview

VTG is looking for a Cloud professional in Chantilly, VA.  (Note: Contingent upon program award).

Cloud I provides entrylevel technical advisory support to government programs, assisting with oversight of cloudbased software systems, documentation reviews, and compliance assessments in a SETA capacity.

Cloud II provides independent technical advisory support, evaluating cloudbased software solutions, architectures, and contractor performance to ensure mission alignment, security, and scalability.

Cloud III serves as a trusted technical advisor to government leadership, providing strategic oversight and guidance across complex, cloudbased software programs in a SETA role.


What will you do?

Cloud I

  • Support review of cloudbased software architectures and design documentation
  • Assist with assessment of contractor cloud solutions for alignment with requirements and standards
  • Support analysis of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) from an oversight perspective
  • Help maintain technical documentation, requirements traceability, and assessment artifacts
  • Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and cloud architecture discussions
  • Track cloudrelated risks, issues, and action items under senior guidance
  • Support coordination between government stakeholders and cloud service providers

Cloud II

  • Analyze and assess cloudbased software architectures and design approaches
  • Review contractor cloud implementation plans, migration strategies, and technical deliverables
  • Evaluate compliance with cloud security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
  • Advise program leadership on cloud tradeoffs, risks, and integration impacts
  • Support Agile and DevSecOps processes as a government technical advisor
  • Contribute to development of cloud technical guidance and evaluation criteria
  • Prepare cloudfocused technical briefings and recommendations

Cloud III

  • Provide seniorlevel advisory support on cloud architecture strategy and lifecycle management

  • Lead government reviews of contractor cloud designs, roadmaps, and modernization efforts

  • Advise leadership on cloud scalability, security, resiliency, and cost considerations

  • Support development of cloud governance frameworks, technical standards, and evaluation criteria

  • Participate in senior technical reviews, milestone events, and executive briefings

  • Assess alignment of cloud solutions with mission needs and enterprise cloud strategies

  • Mentor junior and midlevel cloud software experts

  • Support acquisition and source selection activities with cloud technical expertise
