As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of public health's toughest challenges.

On our team,you'lllead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions supporting public health data modernization initiatives. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve our client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technicalexpertisewill be vital as you work with engineers, product teams, and data modernization stakeholders to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout implementation and delivery.

You'llrecommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of variouson-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.You'lllead your team as they help theclientovercome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally,you'llbroaden your skillset in areas like automation, cloud-based security, and modern DevOps practices, while developing critical systems that advance national public health outcomes.This positionis located inAtlanta, GA.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and administering enterprise applications in cloud environments
  • 5+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs with .NET, Entity Framework, SQL, or NoSQL databases
  • 4+ years of experience developing front-end applications with Node, React, and Typescript
  • Experience architecting and deploying solutions in AWS or Azure, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience developing secure, cloud-basedarchitecturesand adhering to engineering and cloud governance standards
  • Experience with Gen-AI tools such asGitHubCopilot, Codex, or Claude Code
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments, and Linux or Unix-based systems, including Shell scripting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab pipelines
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
