SALARY REQUIREMENTS Candidates are invited to submit their salary expectations along with their application. The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $ 162,000 ,000 to $ 204 ,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION MissionEdge Technologies seeks a cloud systems architect to design, optimize, and maintain the cloud infrastructure. Essential Job Functions: * Design, implement, maintain cloud-based architecture that meets business and technical requirements.
* Optimize cloud environment for performance and security.
* Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly and recommend improvements. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
* Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, information technology, cloud computing, or a closely related technical field).
* A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, DevOps, or networking.
* Strong background in networking, visualization, and containerization.
* Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
* Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS)
* Strong Lunix background Desired/Preferred Skills: * Mid to Advanced Certifications- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified, Azure Solutions Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect. Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager. Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Physical Requirements: May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Background Screening/Check/Investigation: Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
