About the Job You're Considering

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead to lead SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

This role will be responsible for delivering scalable finance solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Controlling while partnering with business and executive stakeholders to drive successful digital finance transformations.

The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP Finance expertise with strong leadership, consulting, and client engagement capabilities. Based on Capgemini's current North America job description format, the role profile includes an overview, role responsibilities, and skills/experience sections.

Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.  Individual should be able to conceptualize a business or technical solution leveraging colleagues and partners and must mastered at least one methodology in depth and have an advanced knowledge of one or more business domains, and one or more SaaS or package software solutions. This role has wide knowledge of industry innovations and competitor activity and actively engage in, and contribute to, internal and external knowledge developments. Individual has the solution knowledge and consulting skills to lead process improvements, as isor to be analysis on business processes andor or IT and can advise clients on the implementation of one or more package modules. This role is responsible for workshop facilitation, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Individual is seen as active member within technology communities. Certifications: maintain certifications on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology

Your Role
  • Lead SAP Finance solution design and implementation activities for SAP S/4HANA Cloud projects, with a preference for Public Cloud environments.
  • Design and implement enterprise finance solutions covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax, and baseline Controlling (CO) processes.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP Finance solutions.
  • Define and implement organizational structures, chart of accounts, financial reporting structures, and governance standards.
  • Lead fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Manage onsite and offshore delivery teams while ensuring project quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership and maintain strong executive-level communication throughout project delivery.
  • Mentor team members and support knowledge transfer, solution quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7-10 years of SAP Finance consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO.
  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Controlling processes.
  • Experience with SAP New GL and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, with SAP Public Cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience designing organizational structures, chart of accounts, intercompany processes, eliminations, and financial consolidation solutions.
  • Experience serving as SAP FICO Lead on at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations and leading finance workstreams across multiple SAP programs.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, offshore delivery resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technology options, influence decisions, and collaborate effectively across business and IT organizations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Experience within a professional consulting services organization is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082- $233,740

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
