Job description

Responsibilities
  • Determine optimal stock levels, identifying potential shortages or overstocks, and recommending appropriate replenishment levels while adjusting as needed
  • Perform MRP report to identify and suggest replenishment stock orders within ERP system
  • Conduct daily bill of material planning reviews to initiate sourcing and purchasing requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory part information within ERP system.
  • Work closely with sales & operations to forecast and maintain appropriate equipment stock levels
  • Implementation and maintenance of key inventory planning metrics.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to reduce excess and obsolete inventory
  • Utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in inventory management and demand planning
  • Generating regular reports on inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and other key performance indicators
  • Support company initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity goals and objectives
  • Compile inventory reports and issue them to management when required

Requirements
  • Previous inventory management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated aptitude for maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment or Physical Demands
  • Work in a climate-controlled factory
  • Stand continuously for long periods of time
  • Wearing safety clothing and equipment is required
  • Able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders to access various parts of a machine
  • Able to lift-up to 60Ibs
