Job description

Role Summary
URBN is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Project Manager to lead the evolution of our Pre-Development (VibeIQ) and 3D Design (CLO) systems. This role is instrumental in driving the implementation and full rollout of these two verticals, aligning them to URBN's enterprise-wide Digital Product Creation roadmap.
Serving as the critical link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners, this is a high-impact role with dedicated ownership within URBN's digital transformation - supporting users across multiple brands and regions.
Role Responsibilities
  • Strategic Roadmap: Serve as the primary project manager for URBN's Pre-Development and 3D Digital programs. Own the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization within these two core systems.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Brand Design, Technical Design, Product Development, and Merchandising stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
  • Change Management: Lead the enterprise-wide change management effort for centralizing Pre-Development and 3D Digital adoption, including coordinating testing, training, and roll out plans.
  • System Lifecycle & Evolution: Provide post-implementation support by triaging issues and managing release cycles to ensure long-term platform performance and continuous improvement.
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for Pre-Development and Digital 3D capabilities - monitoring emerging technology trends, partnering with teams to continuously refine business processes, and driving measurable reductions in the development calendar.
  • Future Scaling & Vision: Build organizational capability to scale CLO for future ownership of additional PLM functionality, including Bill of Materials, Costing, and integration with Agentic AI models.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics: Proactively explore and champion advanced technologies - including AI and automation - across the full product lifecycle. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve decision quality through intelligent requirements gathering, predictive insights, and AI-driven post-go-live optimization.

Role Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Project or Product Management, Product Ownership, or related retail technology roles.
  • 5+ years specifically focused on retail technology, with deep expertise in Product Development, PLM, 3D Development, and Digital Fit Evaluations.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise PLM and 3D Design tools; experience with CLO 3D, VibeIQ, or Bamboo Rose is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record with agile delivery methodologies, leading technology projects from conception through implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet diverse and occasionally contradictory business requirements.
