Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in the Transportation Industry
- Dispatching Experience
- Knowledge of Dayton and the surroundings areas
- Experience in working with mapping systems
Job Duties:
- Strategically dispatch runs to drivers
- Customer service oriented
- Communicating effectively with other departments and personnel, both internal and external
- Able to juggle multiple phone lines
- Overseeing the movement of product
- Fielding driver calls
- Warehouse Inventory
- Fulfilling customer orders
- Scheduling routes and/or services, along with checking on, and confirming with drivers their runs\
- Ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries
- Coordinating with Sales Team on set-up and delivery for customers
- Accepting ownership in organizational goal achievement
