About the Practice

Corewell Health Enhanced Primary Care is a value-based clinic thatutilizesa proactive, team-based approach tomanagepatient populations-particularly those at higher risk. Our care model focuses on coordinating services, closing care gaps, and preventing avoidable emergency department visits and hospitalizations.

We are a family practice serving patients across the full lifespan, from newborns through end-of-life care.Our Medical Assistants (MAs) and Ambulatory Care Team (ACT)operatewithin a pod-based structure. This coordinated approach supports high-quality, patient-centered care while improving workflow efficiency and team accountability.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. It will also include rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures. EPIC In basket work. Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work. Answering phones.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
