Job description

Position Overview
Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs routine and specialized tests in clinical or pathology laboratory section in a timely manner according to UHS, Hospitals', Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC Blood and Body Fluids policies and procedures. Priority is given to STAT testing and to tests that require immediate processing.
Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
Lab Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$25.74 - $38.61 per hour, depending on experience
This position is not eligible for benefits.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician).
Preferred:
One (1) year of clinical laboratory experience.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician.
