Job description

Job description

The family therapist (AKA Shadow) serves as Anasazi Foundation's primary case management and therapy provider for participants and their families. The Shadow also serves as a liaison with other professionals working with the families we serve. Due to the program's wilderness setting, therapists must be able to dedicate each Tuesday to time spent in the field (from approximately 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.). Therapists work 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. all other weekdays.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology as well as a current state license to provide mental health services (or equivalent state authorization/experience). Clinical skills, as evident by concise and timely documentation, as well as strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills in working with adolescents, young adults, and families are also required. Candidates must abide by the organization's standards of living and be in good-to-moderate physical condition, as 1-2 miles of hiking weekly is required. Other requirements include fingerprint clearance, drug screen, CPR/First Aid training, and medical screening.

This is a full-time permanent position, with competitive salary as well as benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance.
