Job description

Sodexo seeks a Registered Dietitian for a Hybrid Clinical Nutrition Manager role at UNC Rockingham Hospital in Eden, NC. This 105-bed hospital and 121-bed long-term care facility is conveniently located near Greensboro, NC, and Danville, VA.

Enjoy the best of both worlds, mountain scenery in the fall and beaches in the summer! This role is ideal for a new dietitian interested in leadership or an experienced professional. Work up to 2 days remotely with a flexible schedule available.

About the job

You’ll oversee daily nutrition services, drive program excellence, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. In this position, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance, manage clinical operations, and support both team development and client satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes.


Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $64600 per year - $83600 per year

Requirements

  • Education Requirement:
  • Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines
  • OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.
  • Management Experience: 1-2 years
  • Related Experience: 1-3 years
  • Credentials Requirement:
  • Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.
