OPERATIONSSPECIALIST
Job Summary:
The Operations Specialist performs a variety of routine and non-routine analytical and operational duties to support both complex commercial and consumer loans. Projects a professional image through phone interaction, demonstrating deep knowledge of residential, multifamily, commercial real estate loans, lines of credit secured by real estate collateral, commercial / business loans, installment consumer loans.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist by organizing and/or processing the daily activities for loan servicing to the core loan system, including:
(1) Calculating and generating payoff letters
(2) resolving loan exceptions
(3) tax and insurance monitoring or processing to include escrow set-up, analysis and data remittance to 3rd party vendors
(4) rate changes and accrual adjustments (4) Requesting insurance policy coverages from customers and vendors timely
(5) Analyzing and updating insurance policies according to regulatory requirements.
Monitoring the issuance of lender placed insurance
(6) Daily batch payment processing
(7) Daily Insurance invoice processing
(8) FPL processing
Conduct research to resolve loan requests and issues. Communicates with internal and external customers to provide resolution.
Assist in providing coaching and training personnel to ensure bank policies and procedures are being followed.
Ensure procedural manuals are maintained and properly updated.
Provide assistance and/or prepares loan servicing reports, statistics, graphics, tables, and presentations, as requested.
Provide customer satisfaction to both internal and external customers and strives to continuously improve service delivery.
Meet monthly targets to achieve individual and departmental goals.
Other Responsibilities:
Provide support others operations department needed.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned or directed.
Independence of Judgment:
The degree of judgment is related to the compilation and/or presentation of simple information to medium information.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
