Monroe Biomedical Research is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Research Administrative Assistant to support our growing clinical research operations in Monroe, NC. As one of the nation’s leading clinical research centers, we are dedicated to advancing treatments for conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure, and more. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about accuracy, organization, and contributing to meaningful healthcare advancements.


Position Overview

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies in real time. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and works independently while supporting the overall success of our clinical studies.

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role.

Status: Full Time/ Hourly (non-exempt)

Hours: 8:30 am- 4:00 pm Monday-Friday

Onsite-Louisville


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter clinical trial data into study-related systems accurately and efficiently
  • Review and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks while proactively supporting data integrity initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to improve clinical operations and workflow efficiency
  • Front desk management.
  • Greet and assist patients, study participants, and visitors professionally
  • Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with participants
  • Maintain patient and visitor logs to support an efficient check-in process
  • Keep reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or higher preferred


Experience

  • Previous data entry experience required, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with clinical research terminology preferred
  • Experience with EDC, CRIO, or similar systems is a plus


Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong typing speed and attention to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
