Responsibilities
Responsible for providing leadership and direction for service lines within the IS Application Services teams. This position is responsible for the design, evaluation, project planning, implementation and support of Piedmont Healthcare application systems for the assigned service lines. The Director of Application Services is also responsible for providing leadership in the management of the Patient Care, Access to Care, Business Support or Project Administration including the support of business, administrative and clinical initiative and for the oversight and delivery of all applications that they are assigned. Serves as backup leader to Sr. Director.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer or information technology or a closely related field Required
  • Master's degree in business administration, computer or information technology, or a closely related field Preferred
Work Experience
  • 7 years of progressively responsible professional work experience directing, leading and/or managing computer and information systems, or a closely related field, preferably in a multi-facility healthcare environment Required and
  • 3 years Experience to include of management or supervisory experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • None Required
  • Certification in ITIL methodologies Preferred
