Job description

WORK DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the overall function of assigned program, direct supervision of counselor staff, and clinical treatment of assigned patient charts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintenance of daily program structure and staffing pattern.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meeting and develop meeting agenda to be submitted to Coordinator/Assistant Clinical Director for review.
  • In conjunction with Clinical Director, Assistant Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Coordinator maintain and/or enhance programmatic goals and objectives.
  • Identify staff training needs and provide training as needed.
  • Monitor and complete required reporting forms relevant to staff performance, staff attendance and staff evaluations.
  • Monitor counselor maintenance of patient charts for adherence to Haymarket Center’s Quality Assurance standards and clarity of documentation of patient’s progress in treatment.
  • Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups and document for each patient in attendance.
  • Oversee case management, referral and referent contact services provided by counselors.
  • Provide direct clinical treatment to assigned patients in a manner which meets Haymarket Center’s Quality Assurance standards and is clear in its documentation of patient’s progress in treatment.
  • Monitor medication self-administration procedures and staff documentation of medications dispensed.
